Dr. Marcus Englert studied physics at the University of Munich before earning his doctorate at CERN, the European nuclear research institute in Geneva. From 1994 to 1998 he was a consultant with Boston Consulting Group in Munich. In 1996 he earned an MBA at INSEAD, the European business institute in Fontainebleau, near Paris. In 1998 he assumed the general directorship at ProSieben Digital Media in Munich. From 2000 to 2001 he was a member of the Executive Board at Kirch New Media AG. He has been managing director at SevenOne Intermedia since 2001, and additionally the ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s Diversification Director since 2004. Dr. Marcus Englert has been member of the Executive Board at ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG since August 2006.
