ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG pursues all its corporate sponsorship activities under the slogan "Act, don't protract." Here we set the emphasis on a well conceived use of a variety of media to promote organizations and initiatives for social action. The common feature of all our projects is that they focus on cooperative activity, and are not merely supported by financial grants. Our "Act, don't protract" motto is also intended to encourage thentities we sponsor to develop initiatives of their own, and to profit from a knowledge transfer by media experts.

startsocial

The "startsocial" business plan competition for social initiatives, which we initiated, completed its third round in 2004. Together with many other companies and under the patronage of Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, we help social "start-ups" by giving them organisational and trainig support over a three months period.


Red Nose Day on ProSieben

Since 2003 ProSieben has been showing a German edition of this classic British Charity every year. Actors, comedians, musicians and viewers team up to have fun and raise money for a good cause.

AKS - Arbeitskreis Kultursponsoring

The AKS is made up of a group of business enterprises which share a common interest in integrating sponsorship of the arts into their corporate culture on a sustained basis. The AKS pursues a consistent aim of seeking to win support among the business community for the view that arts sponsorship is something to be seen as a matter of course, an integral

part of any contemporary concept for communication. At the same time, AKS seeks to counteract outdated clichés persisting in the general public.
