Promoting young media talents: Vocational training in the ProSiebenSat.1 Group

As an employer, we consider continuing education and personalized career development to be essential duties. The vocational training of young people is a cornerstone of our business policy at the TV group.

The ProSiebenSat.1 Group offers many opportunities for young people in Germany to launch a career. Every year, the TV Group provides training to about 100 vocational apprentices, interns and trainees. It is a major goal to familiarize our young talents with company's strategic goals and corporate culture in order to prepare them to assign growing responsibilities in the future.


Work-family balance

The ProSiebenSat.1 Group actively helps its employees strike a balance between work and family. In 2002, we opened a company-owned day care center at our Unterföhring location. In 2008, it was expanded to accommodate about 30 children. Parents also appreciate the flexible work-time models offered by ProSiebenSat.1. A family-oriented corporate culture is a key prerequisite for satisfied and highly motivated employees.

Performance-driven compensation: TOP Goals

The ProSiebenSat.1 Group operates a performance driven bonus program. The "TOP Goals" program enables our employees to define their own personal goals with their supervising manager. This step is followed up with regular feedback meetings. The amount of the annual bonus depends on the employee's individual goal fulfillment, on the one hand, and the company's overall success, on the other hand.

Continuing education for managers: PROFI program

The PROFI program is a professional support and continuing education program for managers. Employees in managerial positions participate in a permanent qualifications-building process, thereby continually upgrading their professional and managerial skills. Furthermore, the various events attended by the managers of our company give them the chance to build a close-knit network, which facilitates cooperation within our company.

Retirement savings

Private retirement savings is now considered to be indispensable. To make full use of the available tax and social insurance incentives, ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG subsidizes employees' contributions for direct insurance or pension insurance. All permanent employees are also privately insured under a Group accident insurance plan.

Health

We care about the health and fitness of our employees. Three times a week, our employees can schedule appointments with company doctors free of charge. A masseur also schedules regular visits to the company. Furthermore, the company organizes back exercise und yoga classes, for example, for those employees who want to do something extra for their health.
