In this year's contest for the best annual report, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group performed extremely well, taking fourth place among MDAX companies. In the overall evaluation of all companies included in the various stock market indexes, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group ranked 15th among roughly 160 companies, thereby moving up 7 places in the ranking compared to last year. This contest is sponsored every year by the magazine manager magazin and the Münster University professor Jörg Baetge. The jury evaluates the annual reports on the basis of content, design and language.

Thomson Reuters ExtelSurveys in partnership with the German Investor Relations Association (DIRK) annually rates the performance of the Investor Relations departments of the most important listed German companies. The ProSiebenSat.1 Group was ranked number one in the MDAX category for the outstanding work of the Investor relations department. In the IR Professionals ranking Ralf P. Gierig, CFO Diversification & EVP Group Finance & Investor Relations was ranked  again  number 3 in the MDAX 50. Stephanie Schmied, Senior IR- Manager was also ranked amongst the TOP 10 in the German MDAX (Rank 7).

The survey was conducted by the London based market research institute Thomson Reuters ExtelSurveys. The data and findings of the survey represent the aggregated, weighted views of about 800 individuals from over 250 buyside and sellside firms in 11 countries. The financial market experts have ranked the IR departments and managers according to different parameters such as reporting clarity, industry knowledge and the speed of response.
