The ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s convergence marketer develops, designs and implements integrated communication solutions. The SevenOne Interactive portfolio includes strong brands in online, teletext and mobile media services. Since the fall of 2003, the company has also offered cooperative ventures relating to viewer clubs, as well as commerce and events. It works jointly with TV marketer SevenOne Media to develop communication solutions for the on-screen audiovisual mix. Another of the marketer’s key emphases is refining and expanding forms of online and teletext advertising. Jointly with SevenOne Intermedia, SevenOne Interactive offers innovative advertising formats in new technologies, employing the mobile services of Sat1.de, ProSieben.de, kabeleins.de, N24.de and Wetter.com.

SevenOne Interactive additionally markets the teletext services of Sat.1, ProSieben, kabel eins and N24, as well as DSF, 9Live and MTV. These make SevenOne Interactive Germany’s largest marketer of teletext services. In content syndication, SevenOne Interactive has access to exclusive content in sports, news, entertainment and weather.

Research

Since December 1998, SevenOne Interactive has been a client of @facts, Germany’s most extensive and methodologically most rigorous study of Internet use, with 120,000 interviews a year. By founding the “Arbeitsgemeinschaft @facts” task force, SevenOne Interactive laid the cornerstone for the nation’s first uniform online currency. Working with AGIREV, which operates Germany’s major online reach monitor, SevenOne Interactive founded the “Arbeitsgemeinschaft Onlineforschung” (AGOF), an online research task force, in the winter of 2002. The organization’s first joint study will be available in April 2005.

Commitment: The Convergence Award

SevenOne Interactive was the founding force behind the Convergence Award, the first prize for multiple-media advertising in Germany. It honors campaigns that combine online resources with at least one other advertising medium. Since 2002, the Convergence Award has been supported jointly by Germany’s leading online marketers, making it an industry-wide event after just one year. Another sponsor and media partner is the trade paper "Horizont". The prize is awarded annually by an independent jury, and presented officially at the "online marketing düsseldorf" (OMD) trade show.
