VIJFtv’s program offer, aimed at a female audience, consists of a captivating mix of U.S. series like “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Perfect Housewives”, “Sex and the City” and “Medium” and feature films such as “Calendar Girls”, “Love Actually”, “Monster” and “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”. Popular talk shows include “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and “Dr. Phil” whereas magazine formats present “The Dog Whisperer”, “What Not to Wear”, and “Kitchen Nightmares”. On the local side, Flemish productions feature “Bal Royal”, “10 Jaar Jonger” and “Angélique & Bé - Fashion” as well as the daily game show “Te Nemen of Te Laten” (the Flemish version of “Deal or No Deal”). In short, VIJFtv has that special touch that appeals to its target group – and women know why. In 2006, SBS Belgium launched C-More, a VOD service that enables viewers to review or preview programs of VIJFtv. Alongside sneak previews, all local productions of VIJFtv are available on-demand and in digital quality on the C-More platform.

The TV station was launched in October 2004.
