SevenSenses (Germany) Bundling Video-on-Demand, IPTV and pay TV activities SevenSenses is responsible for the Video-on-Demand, IPTV and pay TV activities of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group. It is part of the Company’s Diversification unit. Pay TV In June 2006, ProSiebenSat.1 Group launched two new pay TV channels: “Sat.1 Comedy” and “kabel eins classics”. The comedy channel and the feature film channel are available via digital pay TV packages of cable operators like Kabel Deutschland and Unity Media. Both channels offer 24 hour-programs. kabel eins presents a “best of” of feature films from the Forties to the early Nineties. Highlights include a fine selection of Hollywood movies, first-class European productions as well as TV series classics. Sat.1 Comedy offers comedy highlights from Hollywood and Europe, the best U.S. sitcoms plus successful comedy of Sat.1 and ProSieben. Video-on-Demand In the second quarter of 2006, ProSiebenSat.1 Group launched its Video-on-Demand portal, maxdome , in strategic cooperation with United Internet AG. maxdome offers feature films, comedy and TV series in abundance. Users are able to access maxdome on their PC via broadband connection or on TV through a set-top box. maxdome offers not only Hollywood movies like “Mission Impossible”, “Million Dollar Baby” or “Blade”. Additionally, users can expect successful programming of Sat.1, ProSieben, kabel eins and N24, like the telenovela “Verliebt in Berlin”.
