Rockklassiker has a unique position as the only rock station in Sweden. The radio station features the perfect blend of classic rock favorites. Case in point is the breakfast show “Morronrock”, a great mix of rock music and entertainment. It is moderated by the duo Jonas Nilsson and Anton Körberg, two well known rock characters. The afternoons are hosted by the drummer of the famous rock band Europe. Rockklassiker was launched over eight cities in Sweden 2009. To celebrate the launch Rockklassiker arranged a free concert with the band Europe, a concert which about 100.000 came to see.

Rockklassiker is the third biggest radio network in Sweden. The station targets a predominantly male audience between 25-49 years of age. In 2009, Rockklassiker had a weekly reach of 20.7 percent within its commercial target group in Sweden (Source: Sifo). Rockklassiker (formerly Classical Hits) started broadcasting in 1994.
