Mix Megapol is one of Sweden's largest radio networks, broadcasting in 29 cities from Gällivare up North to Malmo down south. The network targets listeners between 25–45 years of age. In 2009, Mix Megapol had a weekly reach of 40% within its commercial target group in Sweden (Source: SIFO). Mix Megapol was launched in 1993 under the name Skärgårdsradion (Radio Archipelago) in the Swedish archipelago and renamed Radio Megapol later that year. In 1997, it was relaunched as Mix Megapol and in 2006 also relaunched in Gothenburg and Malmo with 100 percent local content.
