In place of advertising, the station is financed primarily by the proceeds from transactions with viewers. 9Live generates most of its revenues from viewer calls during quiz shows. 9Live also develops and produces programming with regional content for ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG and other third-party broadcasters both in Germany and abroad.
A leading brand for interactive TV, 9Live is also in charge of all interactive operations of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group.
It is responsible for all the corporation's telephone-based and interactive applications, including the Audiotex and premium services of all channels as well as BLUCOM. 9Live is the central interactive service provider for the whole ProSiebenSat.1 Group.
