In August 2007, ProSiebenSat.1 Group has acquired Vienna’s metropolitan TV station PULS TV. In early 2008, PULS TV will be expanded into a national station, PULS 4, thus becoming the country’s fourth nationwide full-service channel, alongside ORF1, ORF2 and ATV. PULS 4 will also be ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s fourth channel in Austria.
The programming of PULS 4 will be based on four pillars: Live TV magazine shows and news, live talk shows, live events as well as feature films and TV series. It is targeted at an urban, self-confident and mobile audience.
